Over the years, there have been reports of mysterious large birds around our vineyards. Could it be the elusive Moa thought to be extinct? Or are they just …Fat Birds? I guess if they were looking for great grapes, they came to the right place. The wines we have crafted in their name are well rounded, tasty, and full of character (probably not unlike the birds themselves!). Appealing on the nose with peach, citrus and creamy flavours. Food Match – Chicken.
Fat Bird Sauvignon Blanc 750ml A light New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with all the characters you've grown to love. Typical lime zest, passionfruit & herbaceous characters. Bit of gooseberry fruitiness and a balanced zesty crisp finish. This finish is alive and clean as all good Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs should be. A nice drop!
Another terrific white wine to come from New Zealand’s Marlborough winemaking region. Fresh apple, pear and mandarin flavours with a little touch of spice make this a great match for coconut and coriander-packed curry.
This is a single vineyard Sauvignon from the highly-rated winemaker Brent Marris. Zesty and fruity with a brilliant smoky herbal twist, this delicious fresh white has characteristic lime and gooseberry flavours.

Selaks Breeze was created to offer lighter alcohol wine alternatives. The wines have been made in an approachable style with a crisp, refreshing and full flavoured taste – yet are lighter in alcohol compared to the regular range.
