MALFY Con Arancia’s key botanical additions are Blood Orange peels sourced from Sicily. Blood Oranges are a prized variety in Sicily – and harvested in November – their rich red color develops from the cool Mediterranean nights.

The Blood Orange peels are steeped in alcohol and pressed in a basket press. The infusion is then blended with juniper and other botanicals before being distilled in a stainless steel vacuum still.
The Malfy Bottle is decorated using traditional Italian Glass design technique and the stopper is made in Italy from real oak. The Malfy Crest is an interpretation of a famous rowing race held between the four ancient kingdoms of Italy each year. The Malfy Blue represents the Mediterranean and the yellow represents the Italian lemons grown on the coast which gives Malfy the aroma of the zest from a lemon just picked from a tree. Malfy uses a selection of coastal grown Italian lemons - some from Amalfi and some from Sicily to give the gin a fresh and zesty aroma....ABV: 41%
It should come as no surprise that the folks behind Malfy Gin are very talented at incorporating citrus of all varieties into their gin. The Con Arancia and Con Limone are proof enough, but if you need even more convincing, say hello to Malfy Gin Con Rosa! This ace Italian gin is built around the awesomeness of Sicilian pink grapefruit, and features a hint of rhubarb too. This should make for some incredible summer drinks... Tangy pink grapefruit at the fore, balanced well by peppery juniper and a touch of thyme. ABV: 41%
Pickering's Gin is based on an old Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when we began distilling at Summerhall, right in the heart of Edinburgh. By the time we launched in 2014 we had fine-tuned the recipe, perfecting its balance of botanicals and tweaking it to the contemporary palate. The result is a spectacularly smooth, refreshing and flavoursome gin.
On the front of the palate Portobello Road Gin has a generous slug of juniper, the mid palate has a sustained, fresh citrus character from our use of lemon, bitter orange and coriander, which then develops into a sweet peppery finish, achieved by the use of liquorice and nutmeg. Best served simply with tonic and a twist of pink grapefruit!
