Brewed in the Netherlands since 1873, Heineken is now the world's number one premium beer. Made in the purest way - from water, malted barley, hops and yeast - Heineken is lovingly brewed over a seven-week period using traditional brewing methods and an extended cold fermentation and maturation stage. 100% pilsner malts are carefully blended with the finest European hops, and the famous 'A' yeast, giving Heineken its truly distinctive yet mild flavour. Heineken is proudly brewed under licence by DB Breweries at our Waitemata Brewery in Auckland.
A clean, fresh and distinctive ice beer, lion ice is ice-brewed, a centuries-old german brewing method known as ‘eisbock’. This special brewing process involves chilling the beer in ice chambers, causing crystals to form. Smooth clean flavour and a sweet, fruity aroma.

Country - New Zealand
Lion red’s history dates back to 1907. Originally known as ‘lion beer’ the brand became know to the public as ‘lion red’ which aptly described its red-coloured label and can. Lion breweries responded by officially changing the brand’s name to lion red in the mid 1980s. Lion red is a full-bodied malt flavoured beer balanced with a hop bitterness. Lion red has a malty aroma followed by a soft fermented estery sweetness. Cleansing bitterness and sweet malt notes dominate rather than hops. The malty flavour and well-balanced bitterness of lion red is a great kiwi match with any bbq meat. The full malt flavours also work well with fish and chips or roast meats with gravy
