Over the years, there have been reports of mysterious large birds around our vineyards. Could it be the elusive Moa thought to be extinct? Or are they just …Fat Birds? I guess if they were looking for great grapes, they came to the right place. The wines we have crafted in their name are well rounded, tasty, and full of character (probably not unlike the birds themselves!). Appealing on the nose with peach, citrus and creamy flavours. Food Match – Chicken.
Colour: Pale straw. Nose: Very aromatic, with attractive lifted white peach and nectarine notes. Palate: Vibrant stonefruit and citrus characters, with good weight, and a long finish with subtle biscuity characters.
Aromas and flavours of baked yellow fruits with nectarine and peach dominating. A layer of nuty oak flavours, burnt butter, and toasty wood combinations. Medium acidity, quite weighty with medium length.
